Yates Beans Climbing 'Stringless Scarlet'

Yates Beans Climbing 'Stringless Scarlet'

Our trials show this newly bred variety to develop significantly fewer strings than any other. It can be considered “stringless” right up to full size, becoming stringy only if left on the vine.

Full sun.

Warm soils are essential for beans. Sow directly in garden. Moisten soil at sowing but do not water until seedlings appear. Add Yates Thrive All Purpose Fertiliser before planting.

Give regular applications of Yates Thrive Soluble Fertiliser during growth. A support of trellis or twine should be in place as soon as plants emerge. Protect emerging seedlings from slugs and snails with Yates Blitzem. Control leaf blight with Bravo; aphids and white fly with Target. These beans are most tender if picked just before reaching maximum size. For continuous harvest sow every 3-4 weeks.
