We offer a convenient service where our expert will visit your garden, assess your situation and provide helpful suggestions and advice on planting, landscaping ideas and plant health. The format is informal and you are welcome to take notes. If practical our expert will treat any pests and diseases you may have for a small fee on the day. Bookings are essential.

Rates:

$45 an hour including GST plus a $10 travel fee. There is a minimum charge of one hour, after which we charge by the half hour. There will be an extra charge to cover the cost of any pesticides, herbicides or fertilisers used.

Area Serviced:

The Miramar branch's travel area is from Johnsonville south. The Lower Hutt branch's travel area extends from Petone to Stoke's Valley and includes suburbs on the Western Hutt Hills and Eastbourne.

• Lawn care including weeding and feeding treatments

• Vegetable gardening advice

• Pruning demonstrations

• Indoor plant advice

• Mulching and soil improvement advice

• Help with selection and installation of waterfeatures and ponds (Miramar only)

• Advice on and installation of any raised gardens, compost bins or worm farms purchased from California Home and Garden

• We may also be able to plant your chosen plants and do simple landscaping tasks such as spreading mulch, especially over winter. Just ask our consultant and we'll see if we can fit it in.
